Booking & call-outs
Quotes are provided free of charge before any chargeable work begins. Emergency call-outs are prioritised and may carry a separate call-out rate, which will always be confirmed with you before an engineer attends.
Payment
Payment is due on completion of works unless otherwise agreed in writing, for example under a landlord or letting agent maintenance contract. Invoices for account customers are payable within the terms stated on the invoice.
Guarantees & certification
All work is carried out by fully qualified, certified tradespeople. Where a job requires certification (Gas Safe, EICR, fire door, etc.), the relevant certificate is issued on completion. Workmanship is guaranteed for a reasonable period appropriate to the work carried out.
Liability
MZ Works is fully insured. We are not liable for pre-existing faults or damage unrelated to the work carried out, or for delays caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control.
